Overseas Internship

The overseas internship provides our students with great opportunities to learn TCM in our partner hospitals in Taiwan and mainland China.

Internship in mainland China or Taiwan is available to all students in ICTCMV and students from other institutions. It is also available to qualified health practitioners who are interested in advanced study.

* The Oversea Internships are usually offered during summer.
eight-week internship: a total of 320 hours
four-week internship: a total of 160 hours

Students will receive a Certificate of Achievement from the hospital upon completion of the internship.

Effective immediately, the credits earned from overseas internship will be credited up to 50% of the clinic credits for 4th or / and 5th year clinic. This applies to both the TCM universities recommended by ICTCMV and universities at students’ own choices. The chosen universities must be a known and accredited university in its Country.

The credits can be applied to either or both 4th and 5th year clinics, for example, if you are going for one month, 100% of the credits (160 hours) can be transferred to either 4th or 5th year clinic; if you are going for two months, you may apply one month of the study hours to 4th year, and another month to 5th year.
