The subject of textbooks for college students of acupuncture and TCM has been a major concern for Chinese educators across China. The Chinese have formed a national organization years ago to compile over thirty standard textbooks for Chinese universities and colleges of acupuncture and TCM today. Although such textbooks are written in the Chinese language, they will be used as standard textbooks in this College whenever their English versions are available. In addition, each instructor may recommend other textbooks or reference books. Although exceptions exist, as a general rule, only those originally translated from the Chinese are to be chosen as textbooks and reference books.
