Lu, Henry C., Ph.D., Principal, Doctor and Professor of TCM
Dr. Henry Lu received his Ph.D. Degree from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. He taught at the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary between 1968 and 1971, and has practiced Traditional Chinese Medicine since 1972. Dr. Lu is the Principal of the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  He also teaches Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Dr. Lu is best known for his translation of Nei Jing and Nan Jing from Chinese into English.  Now over 23 years later, Dr. Lu has completely revised the translations.  Dr. Lu has received many awards from acupuncture organizations in the United States and Europe.

Ho, Lai Na, Academic Director, Doctor and Professor of TCM
Dr. Ho is a graduate of the Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine and has a medical degree from the same College. She practiced both Chinese medicine and Western medicine in Shanghai's Shu-Guang Hospital for several years. Dr. Ho is very knowledgeable in Chinese medical theory, with excellent skills in clinical practice. Dr. Ho is currently Director of Academic Affairs of the College. She also teaches a number of courses, including gynecology and diagnosis.

Tran, Cam, Professor and Doctor of TCM
Dr. Tran has earned the reputation of Master Herbologist for his extensive clinical experience in herbal therapy. He has practiced Chinese Herbology for many years, and has worked at a Chinese herb dispensary in Chinatown as a professional Herbologist, helping dozens of people.

Tan, Wei Jia, College Clinic Director, Doctor and Professor of TCM
Dr. Tan has excellent knowledge and vast experience in TCM, specializing in Chinese acupuncture and herbal medicine. Dr. Tan was trained and began to practice acupuncture in China in 1975. She became fully qualified as a physician of TCM at Nanjing University of TCM (one of the three leading universities of TCM in China), and then undertook one-year residency training in Chinese acupuncture in the Suzhou Hospital of TCM. Before coming to Canada, Dr. Tan was instructor and Doctor of TCM in the Department of Acupuncture at the Nanjing College of TCM, as well as the Acupuncture Section of the Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of TCM. Dr. Tan is currently Director of Student Clinics and teaches a wide variety of subjects, including acupuncture, Herbology, and internal medicine.

Lam, David L., MD (Cuba), and Professor of Western Sciences
Dr. Lam graduated from a medical school in Havana, Cuba, in 1979. He also earned a First Degree Specialist in human anatomy, with post-graduate studies in acupuncture, massage therapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Dr. Lam taught human anatomy, acupuncture, and massage therapy to medical students and nurses at the Faculty of Medicine in Havana, Cuba, from 1986 to 1993. He also taught human anatomy at the Faculty of Medicine in Aden, Republic of Yemen, from 1988 to 1990. Dr. Lam is currently teaching anatomy and Western diagnosis at this College.

Taddeucci, Carl, Bachelor of Science and Professor of Western Sciences
Mr. Taddeucci earned his Bachelor of Science and Honors Physiology from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, B.C.; He studied at the Faculty of Medicine Program leading to the Degree of M.D. at the University of Calgary between 1984 and 1988. Mr. Taddeucci is highly knowledgeable in his field of study. He is currently teaching physiology at this College, and has a reputation for being a sincere and hard-working teacher.

Liu, Jeffrey Xiao Ning, Doctor and Professor of TCM
Dr. Liu received a Bachelor's Degree of Medicine from the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1985. He has had thirteen years of clinical experience in acupuncture, therapeutic massage and orthopedics surgery. Dr. Liu is also a licensed acupuncturist of California. In addition, Dr. Liu has published many articles in professional journals.

Xia, Ling, Doctor and Professor of TCM
Dr. Xia received her Bachelor's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Gansu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China in 1984. She undertook postgraduate studies at the Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and obtained her Master's Degree in Chinese Medical Philosophy in 1990. Dr. Xia has had over ten years of professional experience in different countries in both teaching and clinical practice.

Shen, Tan, Doctor and Professor of TCM
Dr. Shen received her Master of Medicine from the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in July 1986 and his Bachelor of Medicine from the same University in July 1983. In the past, Dr. Shen has undertaken various research projects, including research on cell culture, transmission generation, freeze and resuscitation, cell count, and cell growth and inhibition tests. Dr. Shen has also published a number of articles in the Chinese professional journals.

Zhang, Kejian, Doctor and Professor of TCM
Dr. Zhang received her PH.D. Degree from Peiking Union Medical University in July 1998 and her Bachelor of Medicine from the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in July 1992.

Jin, Wei-Yue, Doctor and Professor of TCM
Dr. Jin graduated from the Research Institute of the Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology in 1973. He graduated from Zhejiang Medical College in 1954. Dr. Jin taught at the Second Shanghai Medical College between 1974 and 1993 and published over 50 research articles in medical journals, including such topics as chronic pulmonary heart disease, chronic bronchitis, internal medicine, etc. Dr. Jin has brought a great deal of knowledge and experience to this College.

Li, Rong, Qigong Expert
Qi-Gong Master Li Rong graduated from the Chinese Southwestern Athletic University in 1992 and founded Wushu and Qi-Gong Academy in the same year. She began the study of various Chinese martial arts, such as Wushu, and different forms of Taiji Quan & Qi-Gong since she was very young. Her Academy plays a major role in the development of Qi-Gong in Vancouver, B.C.

Hua, Lin Zhen Jane, Doctor and Professor of TCM
Dr. Huo graduated from the Beijing University of TCM in 1988 and worked in the Affiliated Hospital of the Beijing University of TCM between Aug. 1988 and Oct. 1996. Dr. Huo has published articles in Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Hu, Bei Yu, Doctor and Professor of TCM
Dr. Hu is a graduate of the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has a Bachelor degree from the same College. She practiced as a Physician and Dr. of TCM in Ren Ji Hospital of Shanghai 2nd Medical University in China. Dr. Hu also has more than ten years' experience in Japan and Canada.
